SpaceX’s Crew-10 mission for NASA successfully launched on Friday night, sending its four crew members to the International Space Station.
After being stuck on the ISS for nine months, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams will finally get a safe ride back to Earth.
Their Boeing Starliner mission, which launched on June 5, 2024, was only intended to last eight days. However, problems like thruster failure and helium leaks made it unsafe to use Starliner to return to Earth.
Along with two astronauts from that mission, the astronauts will now return in the Crew-9 capsule on March 19th, as is currently anticipated.
